Job Description

GoodVets is a community of animal hospitals co-owned with veterinarians. Sitting at the intersection of quality-first and people-first, GoodVets provides an environment of mentorship for all our employees while also providing the high quality of care and hospitality that today’s pet parents demand. As a Hospital Operations Manager your primary role is partnering with the Medical Director (co-owner) to lead every aspect of the clinic day to day. Your role is to inspire and support your team. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic while looking for ways to improve the clinic’s metrics. You will help the hospital and your team grow. The impact you will have every day: • Lead by example • Mentor, educate, and motivate clinic team members to excel • Balance the needs of the clinical team with the goals of the organization. • Understand and anticipate the needs of clients • Lead weekly team meetings with the Medical Director • Clearly communicate expectations and build a culture of feedback • Interview and onboard new team members. • Promote community with the clinic team and other HOM’s in the GoodVets community What we look for: • Experience driving performance through strong people management • Effective communication, utilizing various methods • 3+ years of previous veterinary technician experience. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and practice management systems
