Willits Veterinary Hospital is a full-service hospital serving the community in the Roaring Fork Valley since 2012. Owner, John Kuck, DVM and wife Kristen Kuck, CVT started out as a family business which has now grown into a multi doctor practice with a full nursing and administrative staff. The year of 2019 brought continued growth with the opening of a new hospital location in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Here at Willits Vet we offer a wide range of services including wellness and preventative care, pain management, vaccines, surgery, radiography, computed tomography, dentistry, acupuncture, and more. Each of our Veterinarians have joined us from a unique background with specific pet care interests and all have a passion for providing excellent medical care. Our staff consists of Certified Veterinary Technicians and an administrative staff who share the special bond you have with your pet as well as recognize the importance of compassion in customer service.

We are located near beautiful rivers, hot springs, forests, and nestled near the mountains- perfect location for a nature lover! Willits Veterinary Hospital, located in Glenwood Springs and Basalt, Colorado, is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team! About our clinic: Willits Veterinary Hospital is a full-service small animal practice, offering the best in medical and surgical care in Western Colorado! We primarily treat dogs and cats but do provide care to a wide range of exotic patients as well. We provide emergency care, perform acupuncture, and provide chemotherapy treatments in addition to the general practice services we provide to our patients. Our doctors perform a variety of soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, dentistry, and emergency surgeries. Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and a CT scanner. We use Evet for our electronic medical record software. Most importantly, each doctor is well-supported by our fantastic team of technicians and veterinary assistants. At both Willits locations, we have built a supportive staff culture based on the core values of honesty, compassion, competency, professionalism, and teamwork. Our mission is to provide the ultimate patient and client experience while delivering the highest standards of excellence in veterinary medicine and surgery. The schedule that we are looking to fill would be a 4-day schedule split between both the Basalt and Glenwood Springs locations and would include Saturdays.
