Requirements
We are looking for enthusiastic Veterinary Hospital Aids/Technician Assistants to support our team with a variety of technical tasks and animal care. As a Veterinary Hospital Aids/Technician Assistants, you will be required to help with restraining pets, and provide basic technical assistance such as the setting up and cleaning of equipment, setting parameters, checking doses, and overseeing processes. Urban Pet Hospital is currently looking to hire Veterinary Hospital Aids/Technician Assistants. Experience not required. Medical benefits offered for full-time employees. Willing to train the right candidate. The position would require learning how to properly restrain, assist with appointments, assist technicians when needed, learning to draw up vaccines, cleaning and much more. Desired skills: Multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Works well under pressure. Attention to detail. Flexible schedule. Desire to learn and grow. Able to lift 50lbs +. Works comfortably with cats and dogs. Reliable, as we are looking for long-term employees. Good communication skills. Requirements: Excellent communication skills. Ability to work under strict supervision. Ability to read and interpret technical data. Good time-management skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
