Oversee daily operations of the Emergency & Critical Care department, ensuring efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care. Partner with department leaders to optimize workflows, client satisfaction, and patient outcomes. Implement and maintain clinical protocols, best practices, and regulatory compliance. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing staff development. Assess technical competencies and facilitate department training. Create monthly schedules and ensure appropriate staffing coverage. Manage payroll, staffing costs, and timecard approvals. Promote a culture focused on teamwork, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. What You Bring Minimum of three years of Emergency or Critical Care veterinary experience. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license preferred. Strong organizational, coaching, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment. A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
