Emergency/Patient Care Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Overnight Intermediate Care/Patient Care Team . We strive to bring together caring, warm and intelligent people who love to serve and help and are among the best in their field.  About the Job:  As a Vet Tech in the Intermediate Care/Patient Care department you will be responsible for: Collecting samples, placing IV catheters, prepare IV fluids and additives Administering medication Measuring blood pressure Must be able to prioritize procedures and delegate tasks. Triage emergencies, prepare and present estimates, admit patients to the hospital, discharge patients.  Assist in preparing diagnostics including radiographs and labwork Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Demonstrate compassion in all levels of patient care Shift Info:  Overnight schedule TBD 3/12 hour shifts About You: RVT's:  2 - 3 years' experience in a progressive veterinary hospital required. VA's:  3 - 4 years' experience in a progressive veterinary hospital required.
