Clinical Director Veterinarian - Sacramento, California About the Role: An exciting opportunity is available for a Clinical Director Veterinarian to lead a well-established small animal hospital in the Sacramento Area, California. This role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about mentorship, clinical leadership, and driving high standards of veterinary care within a collaborative and supportive environment. They are offering a base salary of $180,000 – $225,000 + uncapped production bonus, along with a Clinical Director leadership stipend, creating strong earning potential with no negative accruals. Sign-on bonuses and relocation support are also available for qualified candidates. About the Practice: This is a progressive general practice small animal hospital supported by a highly experienced veterinary team and strong operational leadership. The practice is well-equipped with: IDEXX in-house diagnostics Dental radiography Access to same-day echocardiography and ultrasound Strong clinical support and collaborative case management They are committed to advancing high standards of care, including ongoing work toward AAHA accreditation and Fear Free initiatives, providing an excellent environment for veterinarians who value continuous improvement and clinical excellence. The leadership structure is designed to support success, with a strong partnership between the Clinical Director and Hospital Manager, alongside guidance from senior medical leadership.
