Client Service Representative Part-Time

Part-Time Client Service Representative Vista Veterinary Specialists $19 - $24/hr Part-Time opportunity in Sacramento, California Vista Veterinary Specialists is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team on a part-time basis. This position provides the first impression of our hospital and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive experience for our clients and their pets. As a Client Service Representative, you will greet clients with empathy and professionalism while coordinating appointments, assisting with emergencies, processing admissions and discharges, and ensuring every client interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional patient care and outstanding customer service. Schedule Part-time position (15-20 hours/week) Shifts are scheduled as needed Must be available to work nights and weekends Key Responsibilities Welcome clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner Process appointments, emergencies, and client requests while delivering exceptional customer service Prepare, review, and maintain medical records and documentation accurately and completely Educate clients about Vista Veterinary Specialists' services, policies, and procedures Process patient admissions and discharges, including scheduling follow-up appointments as needed Accurately process invoices and client payments Update and maintain client and patient records in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements Assist with administrative tasks, including scanning, faxing, emailing, and document management Support the hospital team by maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment Qualifications Veterinary client service or veterinary medicine experience preferred Emergency or specialty veterinary hospital experience preferred Experience with EzyVet is highly desirable but not required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, compassionate demeanor Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficient computer skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and exercise sound judgment in high-stress situations Professional appearance and commitment to excellent client service Willingness and ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and other shifts as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a busy specialty and emergency environment, enjoys helping people during stressful situations, and is passionate about providing exceptional service to clients and their pets.
