Job Description

Associate Veterinarian San Luis Obispo, CA | Full-Time Compensation: Starting around $140,000 + production We’re working on an Associate Veterinarian opportunity in San Luis Obispo with a well-established small-animal practice that offers a broad GP caseload and a collaborative clinical environment. The hospital provides preventive care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and general medicine, with additional exposure to integrative approaches such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, and rehabilitation. The team also works closely with local specialists when cases require additional support. This could be a strong fit for a veterinarian who values continuity of care, good client relationships, and a team-oriented practice without giving up access to broader clinical resources. The opportunity includes: Full-time ProSal compensation starting around $140K Additional production-based earning potential No negative accrual Health and retirement benefits Paid parental leave Continuing education and mentorship resources Student-loan support tools Pet-care benefits and professional development opportunities Candidates should have a DVM/VMD or equivalent, be licensed or eligible for licensure in California, and hold or be eligible for DEA registration. This is a solid Central Coast opportunity for someone looking for a supportive GP environment, strong quality of life, and room to continue growing clinically.
