Registered Veterinary Technician – Dentistry $33.00–$45.00/hour DOE + $5,000 Hiring BonusAnimal Dental Clinic (ADC), Redwood City, CA8–10 Hour Shifts Based on Caseload Animal Dental Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) to join our veterinary dentistry team. What You Bring Active California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license or eligibility to transfer your credentials. Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) certification in Dentistry highly preferred but not required. Experience with veterinary anesthesia monitoring, dental radiography, and professional dental cleanings. Strong patient assessment, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration skills. Experience with dental surgical procedures and anesthesia recovery preferred. Strong communication, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with veterinarians and support staff. In Your Day-to-Day, You Will Perform veterinary dental cleanings and obtain diagnostic dental radiographs. Assist veterinarians with advanced dental procedures and oral surgery. Prepare patients for dental procedures, including anesthesia induction and surgical preparation. Monitor anesthesia and provide attentive patient care throughout procedures and recovery. Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory diagnostics. Calculate and administer medications and IV fluids under veterinarian direction. Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments, surgical equipment, and treatment areas. Educate pet owners on dental health, post-operative care, and at-home dental maintenance.
