Job Description

Client Service Coordinator $22.00–$26.00/hour (based on experience and skill set)Full-Time | 4/10 Schedule | Weekend and Some Holiday Availability Required SAGE Veterinary Centers – Redwood City is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to join our specialty and emergency hospital. As the first and last impression of our hospital, the Client Service Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive environment while ensuring efficient front desk operations in a fast-paced specialty and emergency setting. In Your Day-to-Day, You Will: Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and compassion. Provide reassurance and clear communication during emotionally stressful situations. Schedule appointments, procedures, and consultations while managing the hospital calendar. Answer multi-line phones and respond to client emails promptly and professionally. Provide accurate information regarding hospital services, procedures, and policies. Process patient check-in and check-out while maintaining accurate and confidential medical records. Calculate fees, process payments, prepare invoices, and support financial transactions. Communicate effectively with doctors, technicians, and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care. Support efficient daily hospital operations and front desk workflow. Remain calm, organized, and solution-focused during emergency presentations. Direct clients appropriately and assist with hospital workflow as needed. Contribute to a positive, collaborative hospital culture focused on exceptional client service. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year of customer service experience; veterinary experience strongly preferred. At least one year of hospitality experience creating a welcoming client environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Compassion, empathy, and professionalism when working with pet owners. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Accurate data entry skills with a typing speed of 45+ words per minute. Proficiency using a 10-key calculator. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt quickly to changing priorities. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine passion for helping people and their pets.
