Dr. David Cowan was the original founder who established Whipple Avenue Pet Hospital in 1979. After a long and successful career, Dr. Cowan retired and sold the hospital to his Associate Veterinarian, Dr. Cyndi Stiglich. Dr. Stiglich became the new owner of Whipple Avenue Pet Hospital in 2015. Our hospital is located in beautiful Redwood City. At Whipple Avenue Pet Hospital, we strive to provide the best pet parent experience and medical care for your pet. We are a full-service veterinary hospital primarily caring for cats, dogs, and pocket pets. Whipple Avenue Pet Hospital in beautiful Redwood City, CA, is seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our thriving local practice. For over 40 years, we have served our Bay Area community by providing personalized and compassionate veterinary care that puts our patients and their families first. This position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package with a four-day, full-time work week aimed at supporting a healthy work/life balance. * Whipple Avenue Pet Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital seeing a patient base of dogs, cats and pocket pets. The hospital has a well-established, loyal clientele, and a compassionate, collaborative team that focuses on preventative and wellness care as well as excellent urgent care and surgical services. We staff a skilled support team of licensed and non-licensed veterinary technicians along with a friendly, welcoming customer service team who partner with our doctors to provide the excellent patient and client care we are known for. In addition, we engage in active, focused mentoring of our doctors to support and develop their clinical skills. * * WAPH is a well-equipped facility and offers the elements that allow you to provide exceptional care including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory and cloud-based practice management software. * * Just 25 miles south of San Francisco in the heart of Silicon Valley, Redwood City sits at the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains and offers a variety of outdoor activities along with a mild climate and many opportunities for culture, great food and shopping.
