Job Description

Bay Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our technicians are pivotal in delivering exceptional care to our patients. In this role, you will maintain detailed records, review and implement treatment plans, and address client questions regarding their pet's care. You will also work closely with your team to manage the veterinarian's orders, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while maintaining an efficient workflow. This role is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who excel in multi-tasking and want to utilize their skillset and license. This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday. Full-time benefits and compensation: Compensation: $28-$32/hour, based on experience and skillset Bonus package: $2000 CE allowance: $500 the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k Match Minimum qualifications and skillset: 3+ years of veterinary technician experience Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of California** Proficiency in the following skills: Anesthesia Monitoring Cystocentesis Phlebotomy IVC Placement Radiology (positioning and technique) Get to know us: Bay Animal Hospital has been serving the Manhattan Beach community for more than 30 years and is proudly AAHA accredited. We have 8 exam rooms, a large treatment area, separate surgery and dental suites, and are well-equipped with digital radiology, new ultrasound machines, full IDEXX lab, electronic record keeping (Impromed), and more.
