In North Hollywood, this clinic is run by two veterinarians who have left the corporate world behind to build something extraordinary. This clinic has proudly served the Burbank community for over 20 years. Known for their transparency, availability, efficiency, and deeply personal approach, they are honored to be the most trusted veterinary team in the area. The hospital is appointment-based with 30-minute consults, giving you real time to connect with clients and practice thorough, high-quality general medicine. This full-time role includes a dedicated surgery day, with a caseload spanning spays and neuters, dentistry and extractions, and soft tissue procedures such as gastropexies, PUs, and anastomoses. A highly skilled surgeon on the team provides hands-on mentorship, and paid training, including wet labs, is available to help you build independence in more advanced procedures. This is a full-service small animal general practice clinic offering services such as wellness and prevention, diagnostics, routine surgery and advanced surgical procedures. What sets this opportunity apart is that this schedule offers a healthy work-life balance with 28 patient care hours, typically around 3.5 days a week, with every other Saturday on rotation. Candidates can choose longer days with more days off, a long lunch, or front-loaded mornings. You can enjoy collaboration with other experienced DVMs, with their current team of 6 DVMs and a fantastic support team on site with dedicated technicians per DVM. Key Highlights • Two veterinarian owners run it, so decisions are doctor-led, with no corporate layers to the business. • Fully appointment-based, with 30-minute consults, scheduled drop-offs, and no walk-ins. • A dedicated surgery day covering spays and neuters, dentistry and extractions, and soft tissue procedures. • Hands-on mentorship from a highly skilled in-house surgeon who consults and scrubs in alongside colleagues. • Working alongside 6 other DVMs with fantastic technician support on hand • Paid surgical and dental training, including wet labs and cadaver labs. • A clear path toward greater surgical independence. • A collaborative six-doctor team with a strong, cross-trained technician team. About You • Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an AVMA-accredited school • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice in California • Comfortable performing a wide variety of surgical cases • A team player who thrives with strong support staff around them • Committed to high-quality medicine and genuine client care Benefits • $180,000 base for 28 patient care hours per week, typically across around 3.5 days, option to earn a $200,000 base for 32 patient care hours. • 22% production on revenue above base, with no negative accrual. • Independently owned veterinary hospital with a fantastic team of 6 DVMs. • No ER shifts or on-call responsibilities, prioritizing a healthy work-life balance • Four weeks of paid vacation, plus five sick days.
