Requirements
This clinic is an already thriving with a 5-DVM team and strong support staff in place. It presents an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who is either already leading a small team, or ready to step into their first significant leadership role with the right support structure around them. The clinic itself is truly impressive. Situated on a corner with tall ceilings and beautiful natural light throughout, it offers three examination rooms, a separate dental and soft tissue suite, a well-equipped treatment area, doctors’ office, break room, storage space, and ample parking for clients. The layout is clean and intuitive, with a welcoming lobby leading down a central hallway flanked by exam rooms, creating both flow and privacy. You’ll be leading a team of 5 DVMs supported by 11 dedicated support staff. Doctors work 30-minute appointment blocks, seeing approximately 16 pre-booked patients per day, alongside one dedicated surgical day per week. The schedule is a consistent 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts, no weekends required.10% of your time is protected for administrative duties, mentorship, and leadership responsibilities. This makes the position ideal for someone who may not yet have managed a large hospital but has perhaps led a smaller team (2–5 veterinarians) and is eager to further develop their leadership capabilities within a structured, well-supported environment. Compensation is highly competitive, with a base salary range of $170,000–$210,000. with additional “lift” incentives for Lead Doctors that enhance quarterly bonuses and long-term earning potential. Lead Doctors are also eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to clinic revenue, alongside equity opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), CE allowance, paid leave, and wellbeing support.
