Clinical Director Veterinarian - Hercules, California About the Role: An outstanding opportunity is available for a Clinical Director Veterinarian to lead a progressive small animal hospital in Hercules, California. This role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about clinical leadership, mentorship, and delivering exceptional patient care while helping shape the long-term success of the practice. They are offering a base salary of $200,000 – $225,000 + uncapped production bonus, along with a $12,000 annual Clinical Director leadership stipend, providing excellent earning potential with no negative accruals. Sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance are also available for qualified candidates. About the Practice: This is a modern, well-equipped small animal hospital serving a loyal and established client base across the wider Bay Area. The practice has built a strong local reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary care in a supportive and community-focused environment. The hospital currently provides care for a predominantly canine and feline caseload, with opportunities to expand services for exotics if desired. The team values open communication, collaboration, and a positive workplace culture, creating an environment where both staff and patients thrive. The facility includes: Diagnostic ultrasound, including AFAST Digital radiography Full in-house laboratory suite Multiple consultation rooms Advanced surgical capabilities including soft tissue surgery, BOAS procedures, dentistry, cystotomies, and enucleations This role offers the chance to lead within a well-supported hospital while enjoying excellent access to major California destinations without the high cost of city living.
