Requirements
We are looking for an exceptional Host who is passionate about providing a five-star client experience from the moment someone walks through our doors. Our Hosts are the heart of our client experience. This is not a traditional receptionist position, and it is not a cross-training role into the treatment area. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being the face of our hospital and is excited to build a long-term career creating outstanding experiences for our clients and patients. We're looking for someone who embodies our values every day: -Kindness First: Treat every client, patient, and teammate with empathy, compassion, and respect. -Relationships Matter: Build genuine connections and make every client feel welcome, heard, and valued. -Always Learning: Be curious, adaptable, and eager to continually grow your knowledge. -Team Culture: Support your coworkers, communicate openly, and contribute to a positive workplace culture. -Go Above and Beyond: Deliver thoughtful, personalized service that exceeds expectations. As a Host, your primary responsibilities include: -Welcome every client and patient with warmth and professionalism. -Check clients in and out efficiently while providing an exceptional experience. -Returning phone calls with confidence, professionalism, and compassion. -Respond to client emails and electronic messages promptly. -Obtain and organize medical records from referring veterinary hospitals. -Schedule appointments and help clients understand our services. -Process payments and maintain accurate client records. -Help keep the lobby and treatment areas clean, organized, and inviting. -Assist with administrative projects and other front desk responsibilities as needed. -Act as an advocate for our clients by anticipating their needs and finding solutions. What We're Looking For: -A passion for providing truly exceptional, five-star customer service. -Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. -Positive, friendly, and professional attitude. -Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. -Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. -Reliable, dependable, and committed to being part of a collaborative team. -A desire to build a long-term career as a Host. -Experience working with exotic animals is a plus, but not required. We are happy to teach someone who is eager to learn. Who Will Thrive Here: This position is perfect for someone who loves people just as much as animals. If you take pride in remembering clients by name, making nervous pet owners feel comfortable, solving problems with a smile, and creating memorable experiences, you'll fit right in. We are not looking for someone who hopes to eventually move into the treatment area or become a veterinary assistant. We value the Host role as its own professional position and are seeking someone who wants to grow with us in this position for years to come. If you're passionate about hospitality, believe small details make a big difference, and want to be part of a team redefining the veterinary experience, we'd love to meet you. Additional Position Details: Full time Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 9:30 AM - 8:30 PM Starting at $19/hour
