In Your Day-to-Day, You Will Lead, mentor, and support a team of RVTs and Veterinary Assistants within the Surgery department. Foster excellence in patient care, workflow efficiency, and team communication. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to support team development. Assist with anesthesia, diagnostics, treatments, and advanced surgical nursing care. Collaborate closely with board-certified surgeons, anesthesiologists, and cross-functional specialty teams. Help create a positive, collaborative, and team-focused hospital culture. What You Bring 5+ years of recent veterinary clinical experience. Active California RVT license preferred. Previous leadership or mentoring experience preferred. Strong knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, CRIs, drug calculations, and treatment planning. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
