Registered Veterinary Technician - Cottage Pet Hospital Come join our amazing team! Anaheim, California The hourly pay rate for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves animals and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and supportive team member. Requirements: Registered Veterinary Technicians (license must be current) 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience (required) Strong anesthesia monitoring experience. Highly skilled at teaching, training, and mentoring vet tech knowledge and skills with staff Experience with inventory for surgeries and back-of-the-house medications and supplies Understands surgery scheduling, and helps to control each surgery's flow to stay on track Full-time position Must be available to work weekends
