Job Description

Summary Vaccine Vets is hiring a California RVT to perform fast, focused intake and vaccine administration at its high volume outdoor dog and cat vaccine clinics. The RVT will review check-in forms, confirm vaccine eligibility, perform a brief physical screen, make vaccine-only recommendations under DVM protocols, administer approved vaccines/parasite-prevention products,. Key Duties -Must be able to commit to a min of 2 reccuring shifts a month. For example, 1st Sunday or 3rd Saturday Review digital intake forms and vaccine records. Confirm pet/owner information and requested vaccines. Ask focused yes/no vaccine safety questions. Determine whether pet can be vaccinated or should be deferred. Provide vaccine-only recommendations under written DVM protocols. Administer approved vaccines and parasite-prevention products as legally authorized. Follow vaccine handling, cold-chain, and sharps safety procedures. Monitor for and respond to vaccine reactions under DVM-approved protocol. Redirect non-vaccine medical questions to a full veterinary exam. Required Qualifications Active California RVT registration. Small-animal handling and vaccine administration experience. Able to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume clinic. Comfortable following written DVM protocols. Strong client communication skills. Available for mobile/weekend clinic shifts. Preferred Vaccine clinic, shelter, mobile clinic, or high-volume experience. Spanish bilingual.
