Veterinarian, Medical Director | San Tan Valley / Queen Creek Area $170K–$200K Base + Production | Medical Director Stipend | $200K+ First-Year Earning Potential | Monday–Friday | Sign-On + Relocation Ready to lead a strong veterinary team without inheriting a hospital that needs to be rebuilt? We're looking for an experienced veterinarian to step into a Medical Director role with an established, full-service small animal hospital in the San Tan Valley / Queen Creek area of Arizona. You'll have the opportunity to shape medical standards, mentor doctors, influence hospital culture, and help determine what's next—while continuing to practice the medicine you enjoy. We're looking for a Medical Director who can build on that foundation rather than start from scratch. You'll partner closely with an experienced Practice Manager and leadership team to: Set and maintain high standards of medical quality Mentor and support fellow veterinarians Guide clinical decision-making and medical protocols Support staff development and collaboration Help strengthen hospital culture Identify opportunities to expand medical services Partner on hospital strategy, workflow, and operational improvements Elevate the overall patient and client experience You'll have meaningful influence over the hospital's medical direction while still remaining active clinically. The Hospital This is a modern, full-service small animal practice caring for dogs and cats in a supportive, team-focused environment. The caseload includes: Preventive and wellness medicine General medicine Dentistry Spay and neuter procedures Soft-tissue surgery Diagnostics and medical workups The hospital offers strong diagnostic capabilities, including: Digital radiology In-house laboratory Reference laboratory support Surgical and dental capabilities There is also an opportunity for the incoming Medical Director to help expand services based on the needs of the community and their own clinical interests. Who We're Looking For We're looking for a veterinarian who enjoys both practicing medicine and helping other people become better at what they do. The ideal Medical Director will bring: DVM/VMD or equivalent degree Eligibility for Arizona veterinary licensure Active DEA license or eligibility to obtain one Strong clinical judgment and decision-making A collaborative, approachable leadership style Interest in mentoring and developing veterinarians A desire to positively influence medical standards and hospital culture About the Area Located in the San Tan Valley / Queen Creek area of Southeast Phoenix, this rapidly growing part of Arizona combines desert scenery and outdoor recreation with easy access to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and the amenities of the greater Phoenix metro.
