Looking for a better work/life balance? We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Veterinarian to join a highly respected AAHA-accredited animal hospital in the scenic city of Prescott, AZ. This well-established practice takes a progressive approach to veterinary medicine, leveraging advanced technology, a dedicated support team, and efficient workflows. With this structure, veterinarians can wrap up their day on time, enhancing both work-life balance and earning potential. The hospital environment is designed to be warm and inviting for both pets and their owners, fostering a supportive atmosphere where veterinarians can connect with clients, assess patient needs, and develop tailored treatment plans. Each DVM benefits from the assistance of 3 to 5 support staff members, ensuring they have the resources needed to provide high-quality veterinary care. Additionally, as an AAHA-accredited facility, the hospital is committed to maintaining high standards in all aspects of patient care and clinical operations. This collaborative team of like-minded professionals upholds a culture of mutual respect and shared knowledge, making it an ideal environment for veterinarians who value teamwork and professional growth. With a flexible schedule that includes 8- or 10-hour shifts, veterinarians enjoy a balanced workload, with Saturday shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate personal preferences. The practice handles a balanced, yet diverse case mix—50% wellness visits and 50% cases involving common concerns such as allergic reactions, digestive issues, respiratory problems, skin conditions, and urinary issues. Veterinarians are also assigned a dedicated surgery day to perform soft tissue procedures, spays, neuters, and dental treatments.
