Requirements
A thriving urgent and primary care hospital in Anthem, AZ is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to guide its 2-doctor team! This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian who wants to make a lasting impact as a clinical leader, with a clear path toward future hospital ownership. The hospital combines primary care and urgent care under one roof, offering same-day appointments and welcoming walk-ins. The caseload is varied and rewarding, covering wellness and preventive care, sick pet exams, dentistry and extractions, soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, foreign body removal, internal medicine, dermatology, and chronic disease management. In-house bloodwork, x-ray, and ultrasound allow you to diagnose and treat with speed and confidence. As the clinical leader, you will oversee and mentor the associate veterinarians while working alongside a dedicated team of techs, assistants, and client service staff. You will maintain a reduced clinical caseload, giving you the time to refine workflows, elevate client service, and use performance data to make informed decisions. With HR and operations support behind you, you will play a central role in recruiting, developing, and retaining a strong, motivated team. The schedule is a consistent 4-day work week with no on-call or overnight shifts, so you can lead with energy and still enjoy life outside the clinic.
