Job Description

We are working with a beautiful, privately-owned small animal hospital in Siloam Springs, AR that is excited to welcome another veterinarian to their tight-knit team. This is a practice where mentorship, collaboration, and quality of life are highly valued. This is a modern 5,000 sq. ft. facility that has been beautifully remodelled with staff, pets, and clients in mind. With five exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, and a full in-house IDEXX lab, the clinic is well-equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray, and (soon) digital dental radiography. There’s even space for expansion as the practice continues to grow! You’d be joining two experienced doctors who love teaching and mentoring and a highly skilled support team of 12 who have been with the practice for many years. Technicians handle all technical tasks, giving doctors the opportunity to focus solely on practicing medicine. With a 2:1 DVM-to-tech ratio, you’ll be supported every step of the way. The practice is a perfect fit for a new graduate looking for a strong mentorship program, or for an experienced DVM seeking a home-like culture away from the pressures of mainstream medicine. Surgeries are a regular part of the caseload, with dedicated surgery days typically including 4–5 procedures on these days. The hospital values collaboration and has a true family feel—many clients have been coming for years, from puppy visits through senior care. Compensation is highly competitive, with a base salary of $100,000 plus 20% production and no negative accrual. Sky is the limit on earning potential with current associates producing over $700K per year on a 4-day schedule. Additional perks include CE allowance, DEA licensing, PTO, and a wellness stipend. Key Highlights: • Privately owned, supportive, small-animal hospital • 5,000 sq. ft. stand-alone facility with 5 exam rooms and room to grow! • Strong mentorship provided in medicine, surgery, and dentistry • 2:1 DVM-to-tech ratio with long-tenured staff • Full in-house IDEXX lab, ultrasound, digital X-ray, and planned digital dental X-ray • Excellent work/life balance: 4-day work week with consistent day off and only 2 Saturday mornings per month • Opportunity to develop surgical and dental skills with dedicated surgery days and dedicated mentors • Tight-knit team of 2 Veterinarians and over 12 well-tenured support staff members • Varied caseload with excellent earning potential About You: • DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US • You hold (or are eligible for) a Veterinary State License in Arkansas • Comfortable with routine surgeries (spay/neuter, mass removals) or open to growing these skills with mentorship • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a focus on patient care • Excited by varied caseloads and building long-term client relationships Benefits: • $100K base + 20% production (no negative accrual) • Unlimited earning potential • CE Allowance • PTO allowance • DEA license and professional fees covered • Wellness stipend • Supportive mentorship and clear growth pathway • Opportunity to work in a close-knit, friendly, and supportive team!
