We're looking for a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join an established emergency hospital serving the Little Rock, AR area and Central Arkansas You'll manage a diverse ER caseload including urgent presentations, hospitalized patients, critical cases, and emergency surgery—with an experienced team supporting you when things get busy. As an Emergency Veterinarian, you'll have the opportunity to work through cases from initial triage and diagnosis through treatment, hospitalization, surgery, and discharge. Your caseload may include: * Emergency and critical presentations * Trauma * Acute illness and injury * Surgical emergencies * Hospitalized and critical patients * Advanced diagnostic workups * Transfusion cases * Toxicities and other time-sensitive emergencies You'll work closely with veterinary technicians to develop and execute treatment plans while maintaining a high standard of medicine and client communication. Equipped for Emergency Medicine When you're practicing ER, having the right equipment matters. Who We're Looking For We're interested in veterinarians who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the variety and challenge of emergency medicine. Qualifications include: * DVM/VMD or equivalent degree * Eligibility for Arkansas veterinary licensure * Active DEA license or eligibility to obtain one * Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Emergency medicine experience or completion of a small-animal rotating or emergency internship is highly preferred.
