Requirements
A highly regarded small animal hospital in Jonesboro, AR is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its 5-Doctor team! This AAHA-accredited hospital has built an excellent reputation in the local community for delivering high-quality veterinary medicine with genuine compassion, guided by a Fear Free philosophy that puts patient comfort first. With a long-tenured veterinarian preparing to retire, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into an established caseload and a loyal client base from day one. Housed in a gorgeous, stand-alone building, the hospital is equipped with digital radiography and ultrasound to support confident, efficient diagnostics. The caseload is varied and rewarding, spanning wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, anesthesia and pain management, and urgent care. There is also the space and flexibility to grow your own clinical interests, whether that’s feline medicine, exotics, advanced soft tissue surgery, dentistry, or another special interest service. You’ll be joining a collaborative 5-doctor team backed by a high-functioning group of technicians and assistants, so you can focus on the medicine. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are equally welcome, with a structured mentorship program in place to support you at every stage of your career. Enjoy a consistent four-day work week, with occasional half-day Saturdays shared across the team. Jonesboro offers a welcoming, close-knit community with lakes, parks, and plenty of outdoor adventure, all within an hour’s drive of Memphis and around two hours from Little Rock.
