Requirements
This full-service, small-animal, GP clinic, based in Bentonville, AR, is on the hunt for an exceptional Veterinarian who enjoys working autonomously, is confident working in a GP setting, and is interested in growing a relatively new facility. This DVM-owned hospital is truly state-of-the-art with a range of facilities to help support you provide 5-star care to your patients. This includes an in-house laboratory, digital x-rays, dental x-ray, ultrasound, microscopy, and more. You will be given clinical freedom to practice how you wish as well as a practice manager, and supportive veterinary team on hand to help you. Off the back of the success of its 4 sister hospitals, this clinic was established just two years ago, and has built an excellent reputation in the local area with plenty of room to grow. As well as the Veterinarian opportunity here, you also have the opportunity to become the Medical Director, if this is something you desire. You will be able to make the clinic “your own” by making the clinical decisions on-site, as well as being heavily involved with the future recruitment to build a larger team. Work-life balance is a high priority for the owner to make sure you do not get burnt out. You will have an attractive 4/10 schedule with the potential of working half a day on Saturdays every 5-6 weeks at one of the other clinics - around 2 miles away. Key Highlights: You have the clinical freedom to make decisions and work autonomously. Step into a Medical Director position and make the clinic your own! There is an excellent Veterinary Technician to Doctor ratio so you don’t have to rush through appointments and have the support required to perform your job well. No two days are the same in this progressive clinic, you will see a diverse range of cases throughout the week with cutting-edge facilities and technology to help support you. In return for your hard work, you will receive an excellent benefits package including an attractive pro/sal compensation, PTO, 401k, CE allowance, health, dental, and vision insurance + more (see below!). If you go down the Medical Director route, you will also receive a monthly bonus in addition to your base salary and production. Enjoy a work-life balance of 4 days per week with very limited weekends – just a half day Saturday every 5-6 weeks. Have your voice heard! With an active DVM Owner, a supportive and active leadership team they are welcoming to new ideas, and suggestions from their DVMs in an aim to embrace collaboration and continuous improvement. About You: Must have an Arkansas State Licence in good standing or the ability to obtain one if relocating. Must have a Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an AVMA accredited University. You will be empathetic and have excellent communication skills to effectively educate clients on their pet’s health and various treatment plans. You must enjoy working collaboratively as a team but also be confident as the sole vet onsite. You must be confident working in a small-animal, GP setting across a variety of routine procedures.
