Requirements
We are currently seeking a friendly Pet Groomer to join our team. The Pet Groomer is responsible for performing all grooming-related duties necessary to ensure that pets are neat, clean, and look their best. To be successful as a pet groomer, you should be able to comply with pet owners' instructions as well as accommodate any special requests that they may have. Ultimately, a top-notch Pet Groomer will treat all animals with the utmost love and care. Here is What Your Day May consist of: Performing grooming services per customer instructions, ensuring the safety and well-being of animals Bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments Trimming, clipping, and/or shaving hair/fur, and removing matted hair Providing before and after pictures of your work Providing excellent customer service to our clients Managing temperamental pets Nail trimmings and ear cleanings Occasional teeth cleanings Here is What You May Bring to the Position: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1-year experience Available a minimum of 3 days a week Must have tools on hand Maintain Patience with animals Must pass a qualification interview at our location Benefits Paid time off Health insurance Dental Insurance Vision insurance Employee discounts Flexible schedules 401K with company match About Cahaba Valley Animal Clinic Cahaba Valley Animal Clinic is a full-service small animal hospital that has proudly served the Birmingham, Alabama community for over 30 years.
